Redmond High alumnus Corky Trewin was recently among those who were inducted into this year’s Pacific Northwest Football Hall of Fame (PNWHOF).
In addition to Trewin, this year’s class included Paul Allen, Jack Patera, Mike Utley, Terry Baker, Dave Brown, Neil Buckmaster, Blair Bush, Hugh Campbell, Steve Gervais, Joe Jones and Lincoln Kennedy.
Notable attendees at the induction event included Warren Moon and Brock Huard and PNWHOF member Steve Raible emceed the event, which was hosted by the Seattle Sports Commission and held at Century Link Field.
Trewin’s career includes photographing for the the NFL and the Seattle Seahawks. He has also served as team photographer for Seattle teams including the Mariners, Super Sonics, Sounders and Thunderbirds, as well as the Tacoma Stars. Trewin has also done work for the University of Washington Athletic department. Through the course of his career, he has photographed 16 Super Bowls, five NBA Final Fours, two Olympic Games and the Goodwill Games in Moscow and Seattle.
Beyond photography, Trewin is active as a youth baseball coach and referee. He is active in the community and dedicated to improving every facet of the education and development of the youth in the area. Trewin also contributes to the community for various causes, through volunteering his time, donating items and experiences to auctions, speaking at events and through working with committees in the planning of projects in Kirkland.
