With the game tied 7-7 and with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, Hunter Sullivan hammered a solo walkoff homer to give Redmond a thrilling baseball victory over Interlake on Wednesday night at Hartman Park.
The 8-7 win in 3A KingCo action puts Redmond at 3-4 in league. The Mustangs will next host Juanita at 6 p.m. Friday at Hartman.
Redmond led 7-5 after six innings before Interlake tied it up with two runs in the top of the seventh.
Also notching hits and RBIs for Redmond were Connor Barison, Yui Suzuki and Will Helland; Spencer Uyematsu nailed a double.
