Redmond’s only state gymnastics representative, Cristal Spinrad, pulled off a solid performance but missed the cut to Saturday’s finals in her only event, the bars.

Spinrad scored 8.1 on her routine to finish in a three-way tie for 17th place out of 48 participants, with the top eight moving on to the Saturday finals.

Spinrad, a senior, placed seventh at state on the bars last year.
