Golf Club at Redmond Ridge pro Tom Sovay missed the 36-hole cut at the U.S. Senior Open yesterday at Inverness Golf Club in Toledo, Sovay’s hometown.

The Mukilteo native shot rounds of 75 and 76 to finish at a 9-over-par 151 total to miss the cut by seven shots.

The 36-hole leader is Olin Browne, whose rounds of 64-69–133 gave him a one-stroke lead over Mark O’Meara.

The tournament concludes on Sunday with live television coverage on NBC from noon-3 p.m. today and tomorrow.
