Seattle Synchronized Swimming Club is holding a free try-it session at Redmond Pool, located at 17535 NE 104 St., on Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. for kids 7 to 12 years old.
Participants will need to be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke and attempt an in-water somersault and are asked to wear a swimsuit and bring a cap and nose clip if available.
Seattle Synchronized Swimming Club practices at four pools including Redmond Pool and Juanita High School Pool.
At last month’s e-synchro age group national meet in Federal Way, Seattle Synchronized Swimming team earned fourth place in the team routine, seventh in the duet routine, eighth in the trio routine, ninth in the solo routine in the age 11-12 group, 10th in the team routine in the 13-15 age group and first place in the solo and duet routine in the 18-19 age group.
