The Sammamish Rowing Association (SRA) in Redmond sent a large contingent of junior and masters rowers to the recent San Diego Crew Classic, one of the top spring regattas in the country.

SRA’s Masters Men’s team won both of its events in a field of composite boats made up of past national team members. The Men’s Master C team defended its title with a five-second win over the next boat composed mostly of past national team members. SRA’s entry in the Men’s Masters Club event raced to a three-second victory in the final.

The SRA Women’s Masters entry took second in its event, and two junior boys crews and one junior girls crew also competed.

SRA is located at the north end of Lake Sammamish and has established itself as one of the top masters rowing clubs in the country.
