Redmond High volleyball went 1-1 during Thursday’s Sea-King 3A District tournament at Lakeside High.

The Mustangs are still battling for a state berth and will play Bellevue at 1 p.m. Saturday in the next round at Lakeside.

In the first round on Thursday, Redmond defeated Bainbridge 25-22, 25-23, 23-25, 10-25, 15-11.

Ally Ford had 38 assists and 10 digs, Elise Petit had 21 kills and 22 digs, Christine Lu had 25 digs, Erika Fisher had 15 digs and Shelby Bowman had 14 digs.

In the second round, Lakeside beat Redmond, 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Ford had 20 assists, Lu had 14 digs, Petit had seven kills, Katie Pangborn had six kills and Macey Trussel had five kills.
