The hometown squad performed well at last weekend’s eSynchro National Championship swim meet at King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, as the Seattle Synchronized Swim Club had a number of high finishes.

Leading the way were Redmond residents Grace Chen and Lilly Cao, placing fourth with their 11-12 age group teammates in the team routine competition. In addition, the club had a duet routine place seventh and a trio entry place eighth.

The swim club practices at four area pools including the Redmond Pool, and Cao also qualified for the United States 11-12 National Team through her performance this year.

The eSynchro Championships is the largest synchronized swimming meet in the world with nearly 80 teams and almost 1,000 athletes represented from across the country.
