Playing in Boys’ Division II games on Wednesday, the Overlake and Redmond lacrosse teams both won tight games.
The Owls (4-0) kept their record perfect with an 11-8 victory over Mount Si. Colton Umberger came up huge for the Owls, scoring six times, with Kinori Rosnow adding three scores. Frost Cunningham, Barrett Jenness and Curtis Yokoyama each assisted three of the Owls’ goals.
Overlake next plays visiting Klahowya at home on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Redmond’s Harrison Stankey led his team in a 7-5 win over Liberty, with three goals and seven ground balls. Defensively, Quinn Aebi, who scored one of the Redmond goals, led with nine ground balls.
Redmond improved to 1-1 with the win, and they next play at home against Gig Harbor on Saturday at 1 p.m.
