With just one loss to their name this season, the Redmond Mustangs grabbed the 3A KingCo girls basketball regular-season title with a 72-32 victory over Interlake on Tuesday.
Teagyn Ohrt led Redmond — 13-1 in league and 19-1 overall — with 19 points, followed by Kiki Milloy with 17 points and Meghan Egberg with 10 points.
In the 3A KingCo tournament, the Stangs will play the winner of the Mercer Island-Interlake Feb. 2 contest at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at Redmond High.
Redmond’s boys will play Lake Washington in the 3A KingCo tourney at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at LW. It’s a loser-out game between the Stangs (4-10 in league) and the Kangs (6-8 in league).
