Redmond downs Juanita in volleyball

Redmond High's volleyball team defeated Juanita High, 3-1, on Friday night in 3A KingCo action. Scores were 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 25-9.

Redmond High’s volleyball team defeated Juanita High, 3-1, on Friday night in 3A KingCo action. Scores were 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 25-9.

Ally Ford had 32 assists, 11 digs and two blocks; Christine Lu had three aces, five kills and 16 digs; Elise Petit had nine kills and three digs; Erika Fisher had eight digs; Katie O’Bryon had three assists and 19 digs; Katie Pangborn had five kills; Macey Trussell had five kills and two aces; Maya Holmen had six kills; Natalia Chambard had three aces and four digs; Sasha Heywood had five kills; and Shelby Bowman had 14 kills and 14 digs.

Redmond is now 4-1 in league and in second place along with Bellevue, also 4-1. Mercer Island leads the way with a 5-0 record.
