Redmond’s volleyball team defeated Bothell in five sets and lost to Inglemoor in three sets in the opening rounds of the 4A Kingco tournament.

The Mustangs will next play Newport on Tuesday in a loser-out game.

Against Bothell, Ally Ford had 41 assists and 10 digs, Elise Petit had 27 kills and 16 digs, Katie Williamson had 21 digs and Sasha Heywood had 13 kills.

In the Inglemoor game, Ford had 16 assists, Petit had 11 kills and Williamson had 15 digs.
