Redmond defeated Interlake, 23-13, in 3A KingCo football action on Friday night.
Mustang quarterback Teryn Berry connected with Bradley Cagle for an 11-yard touchdown, Matthew Janetzki scored on a 7-yard run, Jeremy Hernandez tallied on a 15-yard run and Redmond notched a safety. Jacen Stein had three PATs.
With the win, Redmond is tied with Lake Washington and Mercer Island with 3-2 records at the end of the regular season.
According to the LW camp after a coin flip last night, LW will play Mercer Island at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Skyline. LW will be the home team and the squads will play two 12-minute quarters. The winner is the No. 2 KingCo seed to the playoffs, and the loser will play Redmond afterward in two 12-minute quarters for the No. 3 seed.
Bellevue is the No. 1 seed with a 5-0 record.
