Redmond’s Quintal was a member of the Junior Thunderbirds 17U A1 team that competed in the 18U Championships. The team headed into the quarterfinals undefeated and bowed out with a hard-fought loss to Maine Moose.

Stevenson, formerly from Redmond and now residing in Sammamish, played on the Junior Thunderbirds 16U A1 team that finished third with three wins and two losses during the tournament. His father Turner — a former NHL player who won the Stanley Cup with the New Jersey Devils in 2003 — coached the squad.
