The Overlake School volleyball team notched their first 1A Emerald City League of the season Wednesday night against visiting Bush as the Owls won in three games, 25-18, 25-15 and 25-16.

For the Owls, Kirsten Parris had an outstanding offensive night with 15 kills, followed by Lauren Bazley with seven. Louise Chouinard recorded 14 digs on defense and setter Vanessa Rosato had 21 assists.

The win improved Overlake to 1-6 in league play and 3-6 overall.
