Owen Friend tallied 29 points to lead Overlake to a 60-50 boys basketball victory over Bear Creek on Tuesday night.

Colby Cadigan led Bear Creek with 18 points in the 1A Emerald City League contest.

On the girls’ side, Overlake squeaked by Bear Creek, 31-30.

Holly Harris had eight points, Victoria Friend had seven and Annabelle Wiley had six for Overlake.

Alyson Wong tallied 17 points for Bear Creek.
