The Lake Washington High School Dance Team Booster Club presents Lake Washington Lil’ Dancers and Junior Kangs summer dance camp from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 11 in the school gym.

The camp is for girls in grades K-4 (Lil’ Dancers) and 5-8 (Junior Kangs) and no dance experience is necessary. Cost is $65, due no later than Aug. 1. Campers can wear comfortable gym clothes and tennis shoes and bring a water bottle and sack lunch.

Girls will learn the basic fundamentals of dance and drill team skills. Each group will work with the state champion Lake Washington Dance Team, learning technique and a short routine to perform at the team’s annual fundraiser, Drea’s Dream Friday Night Lights, on Aug. 18. All participants will receive a Lil’ Dancer or Junior Kangs T-shirt, hair ribbon and the counts of the routine with a summary of basic drill moves.
