Eastside Swim School is holding an open house from 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 2 at its new facility at the Willows Preparatory School at 12280 Redmond-Woodinville Rd. NE in Redmond.

The school will continue to offer swim lessons with adult professional instructors.

“With the unique nature of the pool, we are excited to have new open pool times, with reduced cost, to allow access for seniors as well as those with disabilities,” according to a press release. “Exercising in the water is great for reducing arthritis and other joint pain because it puts less stress on the joints and the buoyancy of the water helps reduce the pressure on joints.”

The pool is 87 degrees (most pools are 82 or below) and has a ramped entry for access.

Saturday’s open house will be followed by a free open swim.
