The Bear Creek School junior Morgan Cadigan fired a 45 at Monday’s golf match against Crosspoint Academy at the par-36 Gold Mountain Golf Club.

Cadigan earned medalist honors at the match, which featured individual scores only; no team/match scoring.

Cadigan’s teammate Kiersten Sprick had the next best score after carding a 53.

In the boys’ match, junior Ricky Olson led the Grizzlies with a 43. Crosspoint’s Steven Zippay had the low score of the day with a 39.

Bush gets the best of Bear Creek — twice

Bush got a pair of victories against The Bear Creek School girls’ tennis team Monday afternoon.

Bush blanked the Grizzlies, 5-0, and also pulled out a 3-2 win, which was completed after rain-shortened match back on March 27.

The highlight match was No. 1 singles as Bear Creek sophomore Emily McBride fell to Bush’s Maya Shields in a thrilling match, 7-6, 7-4, 7-5.
