On Tuesday, Bear Creek and Seattle Academy played to a 3-3 tie.
Seattle took a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute, but Whitney Isbell and Jill Leszynski scored in the 15th and 20th minutes, respectively, to give the Grizzlies a 2-1 lead at halftime. Seattle tied the match in the 56th minute, Isbell sent the Grizzlies ahead in the 60th minute and Seattle evened it up again in the 74th minute.
The teams played two overtime periods, with Seattle scoring in the 89th minute and — at the time — winning, 4-3. However, due to 1A Emerald City League guidelines, all games that end in a tie at the end of regulation remain a tie, with no overtime period. League board members and athletic directors voted and the game will be considered a 3-3 tie.
