The Redmond Reporter will be adding another columnist to its opinion pages, starting in the Aug. 12 issue.

Bryan Myrick, a lifelong Eastside resident who publishes the Northwest Daily Marker, a blog on local and national politics, will debut with a column endorsing Jan Hague for the Sixth District County Council seat.

On fiscal issues, Myrick has a consistently conservative perspective while on social and environmental issues he draws from a mixed bag of rational people-centered positions. He has a degree in political science and communications from the University of Washington.
