Laurence (Larry) Harris Sindall, 64, of Redmond, Washington passed away due to a sudden complication of recently diagnosed aggressive melanoma at Evergreen Hospice Care Center in Kirkland, WA on March 23, 2018. He was surrounded by the love of his family in life and in his last weeks.
Larry was born November 26, 1953 and raised with his sister Stephanie in Piedmont, California, by John and Carolyn Sindall. He worked for the Oakland A’s for several years before moving to Washington to work for the Seattle Mariners and their associated radio stations (KOMO & KIRO). He loved attending sporting events and collected sports memorabilia and baseball cards. He married Pamela Gibbs Sindall for seven years and had two children. He was a terrific Dad, and was happiest when around his children and grandchildren. Larry was warm, friendly, and easy to talk to and will be missed by many school friends, work friends, neighbors, and family.
Larry’s kindness and memory live on in his son Ryan Sindall (and daughter-in-law Glory, grandson John, and granddaughter Elizabeth), daughter Marissa Sindall (and daughter-in-law Acacia) and sister, Stephanie Engle (and brother-in-law Stuart and nephew Ben.)
Larry loved animals and adopted several rescue pets. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to any animal shelter or to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 18th, 2018 at the Cascade Club in Redmond Ridge from 1pm-4pm.
