Hollace (Holly) Faye Rhodes died peacefully on May 31, 2018 in her home in Redmond Washington, after a nearly 5 month struggle with melanoma cancer. She was 68 years old.
Holly graduated from Del Norte High school in 1968. She attended University of Colorado and University of Tulsa where in 1983 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. She worked as a professional engineer at Arco Pipeline Company in Coffeeville KS, the Arco/BP Cherry Point Refinery in Ferndale WA, and for 14 years with Boeing Commercial Aircraft Company in the Seattle area.
She is survived by her husband, James Scott Rhodes Jr., her sister Ruth Danielsen, her brother James Bloss, her son James Garnett, her daughter Vanessa Kinnick, Grandchildren Mia, Emery and Cooper Garnett, Hazel and Rain Kinnick, and Griffin Garnett. She was predeceased by her son, Sean Garnett, and brothers Richard and Martin Bloss. Her extended family includes 3 step-children and 9 step-grandkids.
