Claire Ann (Laffin) Klanderud

Claire Ann (Laffin) Klanderud passed away on February 4, 2010. Claire was born to Thomas and Nola Laffin on August 21, 1939 in Seattle, WA. Claire was raised and spent most of her life in Redmond, WA.In 1952 she dedicated her life by being baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. In 1958 she graduated from Lake Washington High School. Claire worked for Bellevue School District as a school accountant and then as a payroll clerk until she retired in 1992.She enjoyed playing the steel guitar, pinochle, knitting, and camping. She loved her recipes and canning. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.She is survived by her two daughters: Kathy Orozco (husband Jesse) and Leanne Aumell (husband Tim); grandchildren: Teresa Jenkins (husband Dan), Ramon Orozco, Amanda Aumell, and Luke Aumell; great-grandchildren: Jaslyn and Jade Jenkins. Services were held on February 13 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Woodinville, WA.
