Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 4:12 p.m. in the 2000 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. A purse was taken and debit/credit cards were used. Entry was made by smashing the front passenger window.
Found it: Redmond police recovered a stolen vehicle at 12:50 p.m. in a parking lot in the 15800 block of Redmond Way. Plates had been removed.
Monday, Feb. 22
Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 12:56 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. Police arrested an adult male for theft of more than $800 in alcohol from a grocery store.
DUI: Redmond police took a DUI report at 9:29 a.m. at the intersection of Avondale Road and 180th Avenue Northeast. Police responded to a traffic collision involving two cars, and a driver was arrested for DUI.
Sunday, Feb. 21
Theft: Redmond police took a pickpocket report at 5:15 p.m. in the 9000 block of Avondale Road. A caller reported that money was stolen from their purse at their residence and believes they know the suspect. Police are investigating.
ID theft: Redmond police took an ID theft report at 3:54 p.m. in the 6300 block of 137th Place Northeast. A victim reported she was unable to file taxes as someone else already used her Social Security number to file 2015 taxes.
Saturday, Feb. 20
Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 3:46 p.m. in the 10900 block of 176th Circle Northeast. Police responded to a senior living community to assist when one female resident struck another female resident with a purse.
Burglary: Redmond police took a non-residential-burglary report at 3:48 a.m. in the 8400 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. Police responded to a store when the front door was broken into and someone broke a glass display case to steal several items.
Friday, Feb. 19
Vandalism: Redmond police took a vandalism report at 12:08 p.m. in the 8900 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. Four exterior panes of office windows on a third floor were damaged from unknown projectiles.
Thursday, Feb. 18
Pot-brownie distribution: Redmond police took an assault report at 6:33 a.m. in the 18200 block of Northeast 68th Street. Police assisted when a coworker gave another coworker a marijuana brownie without his knowledge. The victim coworker became ill, called 911 and was briefly hospitalized. Police are investigating and coordinating with the employer.
Wednesday, Feb. 17
Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 1:36 p.m. in the 13400 block of Northeast 108th Street. A woman reported she accidently left her keys in her front door lock and believes they were stolen.
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 6:59 a.m. in the 6400 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway. The vehicle at an apartment complex was locked and there was no sign of forced entry.
