A 31-year-old woman escaped serious injuries after she flipped her 1999 Infiniti on its top Wednesday morning near the corner of Redmond Way and 166th Avenue Northeast.
Around 11 a.m., the woman pulled too far out of a parking lot onto Redmond Way, then “freaked out and turned her wheel sharply while accidentally hitting the gas instead of the brake and rolled herself over,” according to Redmond police spokesman Jim Bove.
There were no other vehicles involved in the accident and the woman did not have any passengers in her car.
In addition, there were “no injuries other than her scraping her elbows while getting out,” and there were no signs of alcohol or drugs, Bove said.
“I guess we’d call that very inattentive driving,” Bove said.
