Woman arrested after she pours coffee, spits on man | Police Blotter

Dec. 2

Bike thief: At 8:30 p.m. in the 16000 block of Cleveland Street, a resident called police after they spotted someone swiping a bike from his apartment parking garage. He saw the suspect cut the lock and remove the bike from the wall. Police were able to locate the suspect.

Dec. 3

Identity theft: At 10:20 a.m. in the 8500 block of 143rd Court, a woman discovered that someone used her driver’s license to rent an apartment in California. This was done without her permission. The suspect is unknown.

Dec. 4

Grand theft auto: At 9:59 a.m. in the 6000 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway, a U-Haul was stolen from a Redmond storage company. It was found unoccupied a few hours later in Kirkland.

Dec. 5

Coffee assault: At 9:30 a.m. in the 16100 block of Northeast 87th Street, police arrested a 22-year-old woman. She pulled a man out of his seat at a coffee shop. Then she poured coffee on his jacket and spit on him.

Dec. 6

DUI: At 1:42 a.m. in the 8400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast, a man, 28, was arrested after he was pulled over for driving 15 mph under the speed limit. He also had expired tabs. The suspect appeared intoxicated and was legally required to have an ignition interlock device in his car from previous DUI arrests.

Medical emergency: At 6:43 p.m. at Avondale Way and Northeast 95th Street, a woman was speeding and driving erratically through traffic-congested streets. She told the officer she was driving that was because her son was in the hospital. That story was a lie.

Paint job: At 3:42 p.m. in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast, someone broke into a home and painted graffiti on furniture. Nothing else was damaged and nothing was stolen.
