Welker’s case setting is continued to Aug. 25

Christine Welker, a 54-year-old Redmond woman who was charged with assault in the first degree — domestic violence for reportedly stabbing her 66-year-old husband on the morning of April 28, had her June 30 case setting continued to Aug. 25, according to a press secretary for the King County Prosecuting Attorney Office.

Court documents state that Welker pleaded not guilty to the charge at her arraignment on May 13.

Welker was charged on April 30 and is being held in King County Jail in Seattle on $500,000 bail, according to court documents and the press secretary.
