An Ocean Beauty Seafoods delivery truck hit a male pedestrian just shortly after 10 a.m. this morning on the corner of 160th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 85th Street.

The man, who is in his 60s, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He was unconscious but still breathing at the time of the accident, according to Jim Bove, Redmond Police Department community outreach facilitator.

Roads were closed for a little while, but the only closure at press time is 160th Avenue Northeast just south of Northeast 85th Street.

Bove noted that the driver of the truck has been cooperative and there are no immediate signs of alcohol or drugs involved with the driver.

The accident is under investigation.
