The Bear Creek School announced today (March 9) that it will open a new preschool campus at Pine Lake Covenant Church in Sammamish in the fall of 2011.
The preschool classes in Sammamish are in addition to the preschool and prekindergarten classes held at The Bear Creek School’s Valley Campus in Redmond and the Woodinville Campus, which launched last year.
The Bear Creek School’s Early Childhood Program in Sammamish will include preschool for children at least 3 years old. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
“At the heart of the Bear Creek early childhood program is an intentionality that drives every lesson plan, activity and interaction,” said Tressa Parker, early childhood division head at The Bear Creek School. “The teachers carefully mold their instruction to nurture growth in each individual student. This unique approach to early childhood education has generated a great deal of interest among parents of young children.
“In order to serve families in the neighborhoods in which they live, the Woodinville Campus was opened in 2010, and we are thrilled to be able to offer the same exceptional learning experience to children in the Issaquah/Sammamish area,” Parker added. “We recognize that parents of young children are looking for a preschool that is close to home and are grateful for the opportunity to bring our program to Sammamish.”
An informational meeting about the new preschool will be held Friday, March 18 at the church, located at 1715 228th Ave. SE in Sammamish. To RSVP, visit www.tbcs.org/sammamish.
