Monday, Jan. 15

Car prowl: Redmond police took a car-prowl report at 11:36 a.m. in the 16700 block of Northeast 102nd Place. A woman reported to police that her car had been broken into overnight and several personal items and documents had been stolen by an unknown suspect. Officers combed the car for evidence for processing and are awaiting the results.

Sunday, Jan. 14

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 1:57 p.m. in the 13400 block of Northeast 69th Way.

Saturday, Jan. 13

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 2:40 p.m. in the 11800 block of 132nd Place Northeast. Officers documented a report of fraudulent activity. A man phoned police after his bank had alerted him to unauthorized charges to his bank account.

Friday, Jan. 12

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 5:42 p.m. in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street. A local grocery store loss-prevention employee witnessed an unknown suspect steal a bottle of malt liquor. The employee attempted to trail the suspect as they left the store but he left the scene before officers arrived. Investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, Jan. 11

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a building at 4:08 p.m. in the 17500 block of Northeast 104th Street. A teen reported having cash stolen from his jacket pocket while it was hanging in the locker room of the Redmond Pool. There was no suspect information available.

Wednesday, Jan. 10

Car prowl: Redmond police took a car-prowl report at 5:01 a.m. at the intersection of 183rd Place Northeast and Northeast 95th Street. A man reported having his construction company’s vehicle broken into in front of his residence by an unknown suspect and numerous tools were stolen.

Tuesday, Jan. 9

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 8:41 p.m. in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road. Two men were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting shoes from a local department store. One of the suspects was found to have a felony warrant out of Port Orchard and was booked into King County Jail. The other suspect was taken to the South Correctional Entity jail in Des Moines for theft.
