Suspect tries to steal sod from front yard | Police blotter

Wednesday, Feb. 10

Green with envy: Redmond Police investigated a possible attempted theft of sod in a resident’s front yard in the 13900 block of Northeast 70th Place. There is no suspect information.

Phone harassment: An unknown suspect obtained a victim’s telephone number via a social networking Web site and has been harassing them.

Threats: An employee at a business in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street made verbal threats by phone when he was told not to come to work becuase his hours were being cut.

Road rage: Redmond Police investigated a report of road rage. The suspect was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct, in the 10300 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.

Tuesday, Feb. 9

Car theft: A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot of an apartment complex in the 18600 block of Northeast 59th Circle.

Shoplifting: Redmond Police arrested a juvenile for shoplifting at a grocery store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.

Monday, Feb. 8

Shoplifting: Two women were arrested for stealing cosmetics from a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.

Drug possession: The Redmond Police School Resource Officer at Redmond Junior High arrested two students for possession of prescribed medication without a prescription. A third student was arrested for possession of marijuana. The students were booked and later released to their parents.

Sister act: Two adult sisters were arguing in the 18600 block of Redmond Way and one of the sisters pushed the other, attempted to punch her and then threatened to slash her tires.

Stolen scraps: Someone cut the locking device on a large metal recycling container in the 15300 block of Northeast 92nd Street and then stole some of the scrap metal inside the container.

Egged again: A vehicle in the 15100 block of Northeast 84th Street was egged for the third time in the past several weeks.

Sunday, Feb. 7

Assault: A 27-year-old man was arrested for felony assault after Redmond Police responded to a domestic violence call at an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Avondale Road.

Saturday, Feb. 6

Theft: Redmond Police arrested a male for stealing a jacket from a store in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.

Friday, Feb. 5

Phone harassment: A man has been making unwanted calls and texts to the victim — his ex-girlfriend who lives in the 2900 block of West Lake Sammmamish Parkway Northeast.
