Car prowl: At 11:57 a.m. in the 9000 block of Avondale Road Northeast, a prowler smashed a car window and took a purse and cash that was left inside.
Nov. 26
Unknown perp: At 4 p.m. in the 4600 block of 150th Ave Northeast, an unknown person stole a backpack and laptop from an unlocked car.
Fraud: At 11:56 a.m. in the 15300 block of Redmond Way, someone posed as a victim’s potential employer and sent them a job online where the fake company would send a check to his bank account for $2,850 and asked him to buy $2,400 in gift cards and text the photos of the cards. The remaining $400 was supposed to be his payment for doing the job. But after the victim completed the task, his bank alerted him to the fact that the check deposited by the fake company was fake.

Double prowl: At 10 p.m. in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street, two cars were prowled while parked in a grocery store parking lot. The suspect smashed windows and stole a backpack and other items.
Nov. 28
Stealing donations: At 11:43 a.m. in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast, a 19-year-old man was arrested after a store employee saw him stealing from a food donation container. The witness told officers that the suspect has done this before.
Tip theft: At 11 a.m. in the 15700 block of Redmond Way, police arrested a 19-year-old woman after she stole the tip jar off the counter of a local coffee shop.
Nov. 29
Civic gone: At 8:15 p.m. in the 8200 block of 169th Ave Northeast, someone stole a Honda Civic while it was parked on a street near the owner’s residence. No arrests have been made.
Nov. 30
DUI: At 2:23 a.m. in the 18500 block of Union Hill Road, a man was spotted driving at night without his headlights on. He was swerving all over the road. Further sobriety tests indicated the driver was indeed extremely intoxicated.
Dec. 1
Robbery: At 5:28 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street, a grocery store employee tried to stop a shoplifter from stealing booze. The employee was punched in the face. The suspect fled the store.
