Lake Washington Technical College’s 2010 Spring Plant Sale will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 at the Kirkland campus, 11605 132nd Ave. NE.

All proceeds benefit the Environmental Horticulture Department.

Shoppers will find fuchsia baskets, vegetable starts, annual bedding packs, herbs, perennials and nursery stock. All plants for the sale are well-tended and grown from seed or cutting by Environmental Horticulture students.

Northwest Nurseries is on-site, selling additional plants to support the Jim Coleman Scholarship Fund, a $1,000 award given each quarter to one worthy student.

Visitors should enter the campus through the East Entrance and proceed to the West parking area. Please bring your own box for purchases.
