The Old Fire House Teen Center’s youth advisory board and advocacy group, with support from the Redmond High School (RHS) Leadership Group, hosted the second annual Snow Ball concert and toy drive last Friday night. The teens raised just under $300 and donated 54 toys to Hopelink.

“It touched me to see many high school students empathetic towards the less fortunate. The donations received and turnout of local teens was more than expected. It was an amazing benefit that will definitely continue,” said Bailey Campbell, RHS junior who raised more than $240 selling cookies.

“I’ve been lucky enough to have been a part of this and last year’s Snow Ball toy drive and it’s great to see Redmond’s teens working to make the holidays better for others,” said Cameron Skaggs, RHS student/Running Start student at Bellevue College.

“The Old Fire House is fortunate enough to continually partner with civic-minded Redmond teens seeking to better their community; both for their own experience and growth and to benefit those in need,” said Rana Shmait, teen center program coordinator.
