Senior planner Kim Dietz coming to Redmond Senior Center’s First Friday Coffee Chat on Friday

The next Redmond Senior Center (RSC) First Friday Coffee Chat is on Aug. 5 from 10 to 11 a.m. and will feature senior planner Kim Dietz.

The next Redmond Senior Center (RSC) First Friday Coffee Chat is on Aug. 5 from 10 to 11 a.m. and will feature senior planner Kim Dietz.

The chat will be in the Fireplace Lounge of the RSC, 8703 160th Ave. N.E.

Designed as an informal discussion and question-and-answer session, Dietz will discuss Redmond’s neighborhoods, how the City of Redmond connects to neighbors, how they work with neighborhoods to foster a sense of pride and how neighbors can consider the future of their neighborhood. Dietz will also discuss some of Redmond’s more interesting history.

Future guests scheduled for First Friday Coffee Chats are Joshua Heim, arts administrator (Oct. 7), Sandra Bettencourt, recreation division manager (Nov. 4) and Rebecca Borker, maintenance operations supervisor for the wastewater division (Dec. 2).
