Search warrant leads police to recover stolen property and drugs

At approximately 6 a.m. on Friday, Redmond Police SWAT served a search warrant at a residence located in the 7300 block of 132 Avenue Northeast.

At approximately 6 a.m. on Friday, Redmond Police SWAT served a search warrant at a residence located in the 7300 block of 132 Avenue Northeast.

The warrant was related to trafficking in stolen property as well as Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act (VUCSA).

As a result of the search warrant, Redmond investigators recovered a significant amount of stolen property from the residence. The stolen property is related to several burglaries at new construction sites on the Eastside and includes commercial power tools and building supplies. Small amounts of heroin and methamphetamine were also located and confiscated from the residence.

Investigators were able to detain and arrest three male suspects at the residence. One was arrested on a felony warrant and the other two on other misdemeanor charges. More arrests are anticipated related to the possession and trafficking of stolen property.

Redmond Pro-Act officers are continuing to investigate to identify additional victims.
