On Saturday, Leyla Rouhfar of Rouhfar Dental at 15466 Bel-Red Rd. in Redmond will offer a day of free dental check ups, cleanings, fluoride and oral hygiene education as well as toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss.

The service will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is for families who do not have dental insurance and cannot afford to take their children to the dentist for regular visits.

Rouhfar said offering this service is a great way to give back to the community, advocate health care and teach children about good dental hygiene and eating habits early on in life, which plays a big role in prevention of dental decay and disease in the future.
