Redmond resident Gabrielle Christ has been selected to participate in the 2012 Seattle pageant competition, which will take place on June 17.

Christ will be competing for her share of thousands of dollars in prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed to contestants. She will be competing in one of four divisions that will have contestants ages 7-19 competing in modeling routines, which include casual wear and formal wear. Christ will also be interviewed by this year’s judging panel.

If she wins the Seattle title, Christ will move on to the national competition in Orlando, Fla.

Christ receives assistance through local businesses, organizations and private individuals who will sponsor her.
