Get ready to air out that grass skirt and rustle up some leis for Hawaiian Day at the Redmond Saturday Market on July 9.
The market, located at 7730 Leary Way N.E. in the Redmond Town Center, will feature music by Elias Ka’uhane at the gazebo from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ka’uhane is a native of the Hawaiian island of O’ahu and performs a mix of contemporary and traditional solo Hawaiian and popular music.
From noon to 2 p.m., the Melelani Hula Studio will be performing traditional Hawaiian hula at the gazebo with music provided by Ka’uhane.
In addition to Ka’uhane’s performances, prizes will be awarded for the best Hawaiian booth display.
The Redmond Saturday Market is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Oct. 29.
