The City of Redmond’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is hosting its second Redmond Ready Day on from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17 at Overlake Christian Church at 9900 Willows Rd. N.E.

The city’s Redmond Ready campaign encourages citizens to be trained in three areas: first aid, CPR and personal preparedness. Knowing these skills can make the difference of life or death during a disaster.

Redmond Ready Day provides training in all three areas with the only cost being a discounted rate of $14 for first aid and CPR training. The two-hour personal preparedness class is free.
