The Redmond Police Department (RPD) has analyzed video footage and conducted multiple witness interviews regarding the shooting death of a 20-year-old male at The Trails of Redmond clubhouse in the early morning hours of Jan. 1.
Adrian Anguiano of Tukwila died from a single gunshot wound to the neck, according to a RPD press release.
The suspect is still at large.RPD has identified and interviewed several people from the party but are still working to identify the actual suspect.
More than 100 people attended the unauthorized party at The Club and the majority of the party goers were not Trails residents.
“Around 2 a.m., (Anguiano) and the suspect had an altercation just outside the clubhouse, resulting in the shooting. We believe the suspect took a backpack from the victim and fled with it,” the release states.
RPD has released images of five persons of interest to Washington’s Most Wanted Crime Stoppers. Information for tip submissions can be found on the Redmond Public Safety Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RedmondPublicSafety/. Tips can also be sent to www.Redmond.gov/crimetips.

“We have been in close contact with apartment staff, who have been very cooperative in the investigation,” the release reads.
Anguiano’s family has set up a GoFundMe page for his memorial service at https://www.gofundme.com/memorial-fundadrian-anguiano.
“We were all completely heartbroken at the news and at this point can only pray for peace and hope that the person that took Adrian’s life will be found and brought to justice,” the page reads. “Adrian was full of life and loved to make others laugh. He loved playing soccer and always looked out for his family. He just celebrated his 20th birthday on December 27th. He was so young with so much life ahead of him. We never would have imagined that this would happen to our baby brother.”
