Friday, Aug. 19

Theft: Redmond police recovered some stolen pawned items at 4:08 a.m. from a pawn shop in the 15200 block of Bel-Red Road. The pawn shop said it would like to press charges since they paid money for the items.

Thursday, Aug. 18

Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft report at 2:21 p.m. at a business in the 16900 block of Redmond Way. There are no suspects at this time.

Wednesday, Aug. 17

Pay or get pawned: The reporting parties found their television and DVD player missing from their home in the 17100 block of Northeast 80th Street. Their roommate said she pawned the items because they had not paid rent.

Fraud: Redmond police was contacted at 9:45 p.m. about a possible fake $100 bill. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, Aug. 16

Up in smoke: Redmond police responded to a theft of cigarettes report at around 2:45 a.m. at a grocery store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

Monday, Aug. 15

Hit and run: At 10:20 p.m., Redmond police responded to the Evergreen Hospital emergency room to investigate a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian in the 15700 block of Redmond Way. The victim did not sustain any major injuries and could not identify who or what struck her.

Sunday, Aug. 14

Marijuana: At 10:30 p.m., a Woodinville man was arrested for suspicion possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 9500 block of Avondale Road.

Pop, pop, fizz, fizz: At 7:52 pm., a man who lives in the 13400 block of Northeast 119th Way reported that he had all four tires on his truck punctured. There are no suspects.

Bicycle bandit: A bicycle was reported stolen at 3:18 p.m. from a business in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

Saturday, Aug. 13

Fenced in: At 7:23 a.m. it was reported that an unknown suspect stole a company truck and tried to leave by driving through a fence, but failed and then left the scene.

Friday, Aug. 12

Theft: Redmond police responded to a 12:35 p.m. report of a theft that happened at Microsoft in the 16000 block of Northeast 36th Way. The theft occurred during an inter-departmental move and outside non-Microsoft movers helped move items. The victim’s computer bag/backpack was stolen from his desk. The bag contained personal bank checks and other items. There are no suspects.

Thursday, Aug. 11

Sign stolen: The large custom-made wood sign identifying the entrance to the Brae Burn Community was stolen earlier this month from its location in the 2400 block of 182nd Avenue Northeast. There are no suspects, but it’s a heavy sign. “It normally takes two or three people to move it,” according to police spokesperson Jim Bove. The sign was last seen Aug. 9, Bove said.
