The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.

Monday, June 4

Theft: It was reported at 9:27 p.m. that a female’s wallet was stolen from the library in the 15900 block of 85th Street downtown. The victim’s debit card was used at a local QFC. The investigation is ongoing.

Vandalism: Redmond police received two reports of vandalism. The first came at 9:49 a.m. The complainant reported two windows at a city recreational building in the 17500 block of Northeast 104th Street on Education HIll were cracked by unknown suspect(s) sometime this past week. Several rocks were found nearby, but nobody witnessed the vandalism. At 6:37 p.m., Redmond police investigated the report of a vehicle being damaged while parked on a neighborhood street in the 8000 block of 165th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill. No suspect information is available at this time.

Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a department store in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road at 1:39 p.m. in reference to a shoplift. A suspect was contacted and arrested.
