Tuesday, Feb. 21
Drug package: Redmond police contacted UPS security about a package containing marijuana at 3:56 a.m. at the UPS facility in the 18000 block of Union Hill Road. The package was entered into evidence for destruction. There is no suspect information at this time.
Monday, Feb. 20
Vehicle prowl: Redmond police responded to a vehicle prowl report at 5:52 p.m. in the 7400 block of 159th Place Northeast.
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a 4:41 p.m. report of a shoplift at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
Pay phone robbery: Redmond police responded to a theft report at a pay phone in the 16900 block of Redmond Way at 2:41 p.m. Someone broke the lock to the phone and stole an undetermined amount of change, according to police spokesman Jim Bove.
Sunday, Feb. 19
Theft: Redmond police responded to a shoplift in progress at a department store in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road at 9:03 p.m. Two female suspects were located at a nearby park-and-ride lot.
Burglary: Redmond police investigated a 3:45 p.m. report of a burglary at a residence in the 8300 block of 167th Avenue Northeast. Several electronic items were stolen.
Vehicle prowls: There were five reports of vehicle prowls, including two downtown, two on Education Hill and one in the Grasslawn neighborhood.
Saturday, Feb. 18
Vehicle theft: There were three reports of vehicle prowls in the Overlake neighborhood and another report of attempted theft of a vehicle, also in the Overlake area of the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast.
Suspicious circumstances: Police found a vehicle that looked abandoned with the keys still in the ignition in the 5000 block of West Lake Sammamish at 2:41 a.m.
Friday, Feb. 17Fraud: Redmond police investigated a report of fraud at 3:24 p.m. in the 10900 block of 176th Circle Northeast.
Stolen vehicle found: A stolen vehicle was recovered at 2:08 p.m. in the 18600 block of Northeast 63rd Way.
