Redmond police in search of suspect in First Security bank robbery on Thursday

First Security Bank of Washington in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street in Redmond was robbed shortly after 3:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

First Security Bank of Washington in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street in Redmond was robbed shortly after 3:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

The suspect approached the counter and was given an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was seen or implied. There were no injuries. The suspect is believed to have robbed multiple banks in the greater Seattle area Wednesday and Thursday.

The suspect is described as a white, male in his mid 20s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 1 inch and slender in build. The suspect had been wearing a black pea coat, black beanie and blue jeans.

A possible suspect vehicle is described as a small dark-colored sedan with three custom and one stock tire rims.
