No cash for cabbie: Redmond police investigated a report of a person failing to pay cab fare at around 1 a.m. in the 16500 block of Northeast 35th Circle.

Wednesday, March 23

Trespassing: Four men were panhandling at a business in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast at around 5 p.m. Police found drugs in the area and the men were issued trespassing notices.

Tuesday, March 22

DUI: Redmond police arrested a 23-year-old Bellevue man at 2:49 a.m. for investigation of DUI and possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Northeast 24th Street.

Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft in progress in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast where the suspect ran away from store security.

Phone harassment: A Redmond resident reported receiving harassing phone calls after canceling an appointment with a mobile detailing service.

Monday, March 21

Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested two teenage girls at 6:33 p.m. for third-degree theft at a department store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street.

Car prowl: Redmond police investigated a car prowl incident at 7:24 a.m. on a city vehicle in the 15400 block of Northeast 90th Street. There is no suspect information.

Sunday, March 20

Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft of a vehicle license plate at a park in the 3600 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway at 2:05 p.m.

Reckless driving: Redmond police received a report of reckless driving in the Redmond Town Center at 12:32 p.m. Police have contacted multiple witnesses and the vehicle has been identified.

Phone harassment: Redmond police responded to nuisance phone calls at a business in the 2200 block of Bel-Red Road. No crime has been committed.

Friday, March 18

Assault: A highly-intoxicated 40-year-old was arrested at 8:40 p.m. for assault in the 7200 block of West Lake Samammish Parkway.

Theft: Someone siphoned gasoline from three company vehicles sometime during the night in the 17600 block of Northeast 65th Street.

Assault: A man was arrested for assaulting a juvenile while attempting to leave the scene of a collision in the 15900 block of Redmond Way.
