Thursday, March 10

DUI: A 42-year-old Bellevue man was arrested at 2:30 a.m. for investigation of DUI after being pulled over for several traffic infractions in the 7600 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Wednesday, March 9

Assault: A 40-year-old Redmond man was arrested for assaulting his father in the 15800 block of Leary Way.

Tuesday, March 8

Threats: A store clerk at a business in the 7300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway received two threatening phone calls.

DUIs: Redmond police arrested two people for investigation of DUIs in two separate incidents. The first one happened around 8 p.m. when police arrested a 40-year-old man after making a traffic stop in the 3700 block of 150th Avenue Northeast. Then around 9:15 p.m., police arrested a 41-year-old man in the 15900 block of Leary Way.

Theft: A man had his cell phone stolen from a gymnasium in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast at around 1 p.m.

Bike stolen: A man reported at around 10 a.m. that his bicycle was stolen from a transit center in the 3600 block of 156th Avenue Northeast sometime overnight.

Theft: A grocery store employee who works in the 17900 block of Redmond Way reported at around 9:45 a.m. that a customer stole a bag containing her personal items.

Cardboard bandit: Large amounts of cardboard were stolen from a storage area of a grocery store in the 17900 block of Redmond Way.

Monday, March 7

Car prowls: There were two reports of car prowls during the middle of the night in the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish.

Hit and run: Redmond police responded to a hit and run traffic collision at around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast 24th Street and 152nd Avenue Northeast. No major injuries were reported.

Sunday, March 6

Suspicious circumstances: Redmond police responded to an apartment in the 18600 block of Redmond Way where a sex offender was staying. There were children in the apartment. The case will be forwarded to the offender’s supervising officer.

Saturday, March 5

Assault: Redmond police arrested a 37-year-old woman at around 8:30 p.m. for allegedly assaulting her daughter in the 6200 block of 154th Avenue Northeast.

Broken glass: The front door glass of a residence in the 15400 block of Bel-Red Road was reported broken by a thrown rock at around 10 a.m., but no one entered the home or stole anything.

Harassment: A resident who lives in the 17200 block of Northeast 119th Way reported threats made through the Internet by someone they know.

Theft: Redmond police responded to a reported theft a business in the 9000 block of Willows Road.

Vehicle theft: A man who lives in the 4600 block of 156th Avenue Northeast reported finding his truck stolen in the morning.

Wednesday, March 2

Vehicle theft: A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in the 5000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Theft: A catalytic converter was taken from a parked vehicle in a parking lot in the 7700 block of 178th Place Northeast.

Smash and grab: Someone smashed the rear driver’s side window of a parked vehicle in the 5000 block of West Lake Sammamish and stole a purse, backpack and athletic bag.

Theft: A woman was arrested for shoplifting items from a department store in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street.
