Hit and run: Police responded to a hit and run at a grocery store parking lot in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street.
The suspect’s vehicle reportedly rolled from its parked position and collided with the victim’s vehicle. Both vehicles were unoccupied at the time. The suspect then returned to his truck, saw the damage done to the victim’s vehicle and left the scene.
Monday, June 30
Hostile friend: Two women called police when a friend of theirs became enraged and kicked in the front door or their apartment in the 9800 block of Avondale Road. The suspect was arrested for residential burglary.
Sinners: A suspect entered a church in the 12300 block of Red-Wood Road through an unlocked exterior door and stole four 500-foot MC cables and an air compressor. Police are still looking for the suspect.
Saturday, June 28
Tool time: A manager at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast reported that a man and woman stole tools worth approximately $500. The tools were located two hours later and returned to the store.
Friday, June 27
Tow, then go: A Tacoma man went to a tow yard in the 8500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast to pick up his car, which had been towed and impounded. The man drove off with his car without paying the tow bill.

Car prowl: A resident reported a car prowl in the 6400 block of East Sammamish Parkway. The rear side driver’s side window and front passenger windows were smashed. A portable player was stolen from the vehicle. There is no suspect information.
Wednesday, June 25
Unlawful entry: A resident reported that somebody entered her mobile home in the 11400 block of Avondale Road and sprayed a fire extinguisher into the home, leaving a powder residue. There was no forced entry, but the door was unlocked.

Theft: A red Nissan pickup with a black canopy was stolen from a residence in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street sometime in the middle of the night.
