The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.
Wednesday, July 7
Disturbance: Redmond police responded to a dispute between a landlord and tenant in the 7000 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast.
Out of air: Redmond police responded to a malicious mischief complaint in the 16800 block of Northeast 104th Court. The victim’s tire had been deflated a few weeks prior.
Medical emergency: A person died after suffering injuries in a fall at an assisted living center in the 7400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. No criminal activity was reported.
Tuesday, July 6
Theft: A Bellevue man stole several items from a business in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street at around 2 a.m. Employees know the suspect and charges will be filed.
Monday, July 5
Vandalism: Someone spray-painted a building in the 8000 block of 161st Avenue Northeast near the skate park.
Domestic violence: Redmond police arrested a 15-year-old girl after responding to a domestic disturbance in the 2100 block of 180th Circle Northeast.
Sunday, July 4
DUI: Redmond police arrested a Bellevue man for investigation of DUI and resisting arrest during a traffic stop for driving the wrong way in the 16100 block of Redmond Way.
Stolen bike: A bicycle was stolen from the 2200 block of 186th Avenue Northeast.
Burglary: Redmond police responded to a burglary in process in the 2200 block of West Lake Sammamish, but no suspects were found near the residence. There were several construction tools missing, according to the police report.
Saturday, July 3
DUI: Redmond police arrested a Seattle resident for investigation of DUI in the 8500 block of 164th Avenue Northeast.
Friday, July 2
Fraud: Unknowns suspects charged more than $9,000 in Russia on a Redmond victim’s credit card.
Burglary: Two television were stolen from a residence in the 18600 block of Redmond Way.
Thursday, July 1
Too young to drink: Redmond police responded to a noise complaint in the 9300 block of 178th Place Northeast. Evidence of underage drinking was discovered by police officers. A search warrant was executed and one boy was arrested for being a minor in consumption of alcohol and possession of marijuana. Four others were arrested as minors in consumption of alcohol.
